Pedestrian / Cycle
Routes for cycling can be found on the Sustrans website www.sustrans.org.uk. Lloyd George Avenue (see map above) is recommended as the best route for pedestrians and cyclists approaching Cardiff Bay.
At the end of Lloyd George Avenue, you will see the Millennium Centre on the left, and Mermaid Quay shops on the right, where there are facilities for locking up bicycles. Bear left and walk along the waterfront for 300m to the Norwegian Church Arts Centre.
Bus
Please consult www.traveline-cymru.org.uk for a journey planner. The Cardiff Bay Car (service 6) runs approximately every 10 minutes (15 minutes on Sundays) between the City Centre and Cardiff Bay – visit www.cardiffbus.com for timetables. These 2 websites also contain details for services from other parts of Cardiff.
Train
A frequent train shuttle operates from Cardiff’s Queen Street Station to Cardiff Bay approximately every 15 minutes except on Sunday. For timetable details look at www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk
Waterbus
A number of waterbus operators have services between the City Centre, Penarth & Cardiff Bay. Please check with the operators listed below for their latest timetable.

Car
If you are travelling from the M4, exit at Junction 33 onto the A4232. Follow the signs for Cardiff Bay. Follow the A4232 over the River Taff Bridge & go through the Butetown tunnels. At the roundabout after the tunnels, take your second exit left off to Cardiff Bay. At the traffic lights turn right then proceed onto Pierhead Street. Drive straight through the next set of lights. At the next set of lights at the junction with the National assembly for Wales turn left onto Britannia Quay. At the end of this street turn left onto Harbour Drive & the Norwegian Church is located on the end overlooking Cardiff Bay.
Parking
There is a ‘Pay & Display’ car park next to the Norwegian Church Arts Centre off Harbour Drive. Alternative ‘Pay & Display’ car parks are located at Mermaid Quay off Stuart Street, and at St David’s Hotel off Havannah Street.

Coaches

Access
The front entrance of the Norwegian Church Arts Centre is located overlooking the waterfront on the pedestrian walkway. A ramped access is provided at the rear of the building as you approach via Harbour Drive. Fully accessible toilets are also available.
